    مظفرآباد: وزیراعظم آزاد جموں و کشمیر بیرسٹر افتخار گیلانی نے زکوٰۃ کونسل تحلیل کرتے ہوئے تقریباً تین ہزار اختیاری تعیناتیاں ختم کر دی ہیں۔ یہ اقدام حکومت کے انتظامی اور مالیاتی اصلاحاتی ایجنڈے کا حصہ بتایا گیا ہے۔

    رپورٹس کے مطابق ہٹائے جانے والوں میں زکوٰۃ کونسل کے چیئرمین اور ارکان، دس اضلاع کے زکوٰۃ کمیٹیوں کے چیئرمین، حلقہ سطح کے چیئرمین اور مقامی زکوٰۃ کمیٹیوں کے تقریباً دو ہزار تین سو چیئرمین شامل ہیں۔

    اس کے ساتھ علما و مشائخ کونسل کے چیئرمین اور ارکان کو بھی ہٹایا جا رہا ہے اور متعلقہ سمری وزیراعظم کو ارسال کر دی گئی ہے۔ تجوید القرآن کوآرڈینیٹر کو بھی عہدے سے ہٹا دیا گیا ہے۔

    اس سے قبل چیئرمین وزیراعظم انسپیکشن کمیشن، انویسٹمنٹ بورڈ اور کلچرل اکیڈمی میں اختیاری عہدوں پر کی گئی تعیناتیاں بھی ختم کی جا چکی ہیں۔

    حکومتی ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ ان اقدامات کا مقصد سرکاری وسائل کا بہتر استعمال اور انتظامی ڈھانچے کو مزید موثر بنانا ہے۔

    According to reports, those removed include the chairman and members of the Zakat Council, chairmen of Zakat committees in 10 districts, constituency-level chairmen, and around 2,300 chairmen of local Zakat committees.

    The chairman and members of the Ulema and Mashaikh Council are also being removed, and the relevant summary has been forwarded to the prime minister. The Tajweed-ul-Quran coordinator is being removed as well.

    Earlier, those appointed to discretionary posts on the Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission, the Investment Board, and the Cultural Academy were removed.

    Government sources said the steps are aimed at better utilisation of public resources and a more efficient administrative structure.

    Fatima Gobi Ventures (FGV) has become the first Pakistan-based venture capital fund to back a unicorn, after digital-asset company Fasset reached a US$1 billion valuation following a US$68 million Series C funding round led by Japan’s SBI Group.

    The round pushed Fasset’s total capital raised in 2026 to US$119 million. The company had raised US$51 million in Series B funding in May 2026, which brought Speedinvest onto its cap table. FGV first backed Fasset in early 2022, co-leading its US$22 million Series A alongside Liberty City Ventures.

    By the Series C close, Fasset was processing over US$40 billion in annualised transaction volume, operating in 125 countries, and serving more than 3 million wallets and around 1,000 enterprise clients. Revenue had grown roughly sixfold year on year, with a profitable balance sheet.

    Naiel Oberoi Ikram, Managing Partner at Gobi Partners Pakistan, told Business Recorder on September 25 that while the milestone matters, the startup ecosystem needs to grow well beyond a single unicorn. The harder work, he said, still lies ahead.

    Fasset’s Pakistan entry runs through a partnership with Habib Rafiq Limited, an infrastructure and real estate group founded in 1962. The plan has two parts: tokenising real estate so international investors can invest with less friction, and giving Pakistan’s freelance workforce faster ways to receive and reinvest international income.

    LAHORE (Daily Hayat) — Crime Control Department (CCD) Inspector Javed Iqbal and Constable Tauseef have been arrested on charges of allegedly kidnapping a youth for ransom.

    According to officials, the suspects were arrested while attempting to collect the ransom amount. Weapons were seized from the accused during the operation.

    A case has been registered against the arrested officials and their associates. Officials said interrogation is underway and further recoveries are expected as the investigation progresses.

    The alleged involvement of serving officers in such a serious offence has raised serious concerns about the misuse of police authority and internal accountability mechanisms. Officials said strict departmental action will follow once the inquiry is complete.

    Police maintain that no one involved in breaking the law will be spared, regardless of their position or department.

    فاطمہ گوبی وینچرز (ایف جی وی) پاکستان کا پہلا مقامی وینچر کیپٹل فنڈ بن گیا ہے جس کی حمایت یافتہ کمپنی نے ”یونیکارن“ کا درجہ حاصل کر لیا ہے۔ ڈیجیٹل اثاثوں کی کمپنی فیسیٹ نے جاپان کے ایس بی آئی گروپ کی قیادت میں 6 کروڑ 80 لاکھ ڈالر کی سیریز سی فنڈنگ کے بعد ایک ارب ڈالر کی قدر حاصل کی۔

    اس فنڈنگ کے ساتھ فیسیٹ نے 2026 میں مجموعی طور پر 11 کروڑ 90 لاکھ ڈالر جمع کیے۔ مئی 2026 میں کمپنی نے 5 کروڑ 10 لاکھ ڈالر کی سیریز بی فنڈنگ حاصل کی تھی، جس کے بعد اسپیڈ انویسٹ سرمایہ کاروں میں شامل ہوا۔ ایف جی وی نے 2022 کے اوائل میں لبرٹی سٹی وینچرز کے ساتھ مل کر 2 کروڑ 20 لاکھ ڈالر کی سیریز اے میں پہلی بار فیسیٹ میں سرمایہ کاری کی تھی۔

    سیریز سی کے اختتام تک فیسیٹ سالانہ بنیاد پر 4 ہزار ارب ڈالر سے زائد کے لین دین پروسیس کر رہی تھی، 125 ممالک میں کام کر رہی تھی اور 30 لاکھ سے زائد والٹس اور تقریباً ایک ہزار ادارہ جاتی صارفین کی خدمت کر رہی تھی۔ کمپنی کی آمدن میں سالانہ بنیاد پر تقریباً چھ گنا اضافہ ہوا اور اس کا بیلنس شیٹ منافع بخش رہا۔

    گوبی پارٹنرز پاکستان کے منیجنگ پارٹنر نائل عبیر اکرام نے 25 ستمبر کو بزنس ریکارڈر سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ سنگ میل اہم ہے، تاہم اسٹارٹ اپ ماحول کو ایک یونیکارن سے آگے بڑھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ ان کے بقول اصل کام ابھی باقی ہے۔

    فیسیٹ کا پاکستان میں داخلہ حبیب رفیق لمیٹڈ کے ساتھ شراکت داری کے ذریعے ہو رہا ہے، جو 1962 میں قائم ہونے والا انفراسٹرکچر اور رئیل اسٹیٹ گروپ ہے۔ منصوبے کے دو حصے ہیں: رئیل اسٹیٹ کی ٹوکنائزیشن کے ذریعے بین الاقوامی سرمایہ کاروں کے لیے سرمایہ کاری آسان بنانا، اور پاکستان کے فری لانسرز کو بین الاقوامی آمدن وصول کرنے اور دوبارہ سرمایہ کاری کے تیز ذرائع فراہم کرنا۔

    پاکستان نے 29 ستمبر 2026 کو مدینہ منورہ میں طیبہ بجلی تقسیم اسٹیشن پر حوثی ملیشیا کے حملے کی سخت مذمت کی ہے۔ دفترِ خارجہ نے جمعہ کو جاری بیان میں کہا کہ یہ حملہ مسجدِ نبوی کو بجلی فراہم کرنے والی سویلین تنصیب پر کیا گیا، جو لاکھوں مسلمانوں کے لیے گہری تشویش اور دکھ کا باعث ہے۔

    ترجمان دفترِ خارجہ سفیر سجاد حیدر خان نے کہا کہ ‘مسجدِ نبوی کو بجلی فراہم کرنے والے سویلین انفراسٹرکچر پر یہ قابلِ مذمت حملہ ایک سنگین اشتعال انگیزی ہے’، اور دونوں مقدس مساجد کی حرمت اور زائرین کی سلامتی کا احترام ہر صورت میں ضروری ہے۔

    بیان میں کہا گیا کہ پاکستان ‘اس طرح کے لاپرواہ اقدامات کے فوری اور غیر مشروط خاتمے’ کا مطالبہ کرتا ہے، کیونکہ یہ علاقائی امن و سلامتی کے لیے بھی سنگین خطرہ ہیں۔ پاکستان نے سعودی عرب کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے مملکت کی خودمختاری، علاقائی سالمیت اور سلامتی کی بھرپور حمایت کا اعلان کیا۔

    یمن میں سعودی زیرِ قیادت اتحاد کے ترجمان میجر جنرل ترکی المالکی کے مطابق یہ حملہ 29 ستمبر کو صبح 5:11 بجے ڈرون کے ذریعے کیا گیا۔ اتحاد کا کہنا ہے کہ ڈرون کے ملبے سمیت شواہد سے حوثیوں کے ملوث ہونے کی تصدیق ہوئی، تاہم حوثی ذرائع نے اس دعوے کو مسترد کیا ہے۔

    قطر، متحدہ عرب امارات، اردن، ترکیہ اور کویت نے بھی اس حملے کی مذمت کرتے ہوئے سعودی عرب سے اظہارِ یکجہتی کیا اور دشمنی کے فوری خاتمے کا مطالبہ کیا۔

    Pakistan has strongly condemned the attack by the Houthi militia on the Taibah power distribution station in Madinah on 29 September 2026. In a statement issued on Friday, the Foreign Office said the attack on civilian infrastructure supplying electricity to the Prophet’s Mosque was “a grave provocation and a matter of deep concern and anguish for millions of Muslims worldwide”.

    Foreign Office spokesperson Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan said the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and the safety of worshippers and pilgrims must be respected under all circumstances.

    Pakistan called for “an immediate and unconditional end” of such reckless actions, warning they constitute a grave threat to regional peace and security. Islamabad reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing full support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.

    According to coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Malki, the drone attack targeted the Taibah station at 5:11 am on September 29. The coalition said evidence, including the wreckage of the drone used, confirmed Houthi involvement — a claim the Houthi side has denied through its media.

    Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkiye and Kuwait also condemned the attack, expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and called for an immediate end to hostilities.

    حکام کے مطابق مشتبہ افسران کو تاوان کی رقم وصول کرتے ہوئے گرفتار کیا گیا۔ کارروائی کے دوران ملزمان سے اسلحہ بھی برآمد کیا گیا۔

    حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ گرفتار افراد اور ان کے ساتھیوں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کر لیا گیا ہے اور مزید تفتیش جاری ہے۔ تفتیش کے دوران مزید انکشافات اور برآمدگیوں کا امکان ہے۔

    حاضر سروس پولیس افسران کے مبینہ طور پر اس سنگین جرم میں ملوث ہونے سے پولیس کے اختیارات کے غلط استعمال اور داخلی احتساب کے نظام پر سنگین سوالات اٹھ رہے ہیں۔ حکام کے مطابق تفتیش مکمل ہونے کے بعد سخت محکمانہ کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

    پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ قانون کی خلاف ورزی میں ملوث کسی بھی شخص کو رعایت نہیں دی جائے گی، خواہ اس کا تعلق کسی بھی ادارے سے ہو۔

    مظفرآباد: آزاد جموں و کشمیر حکومت نے انتظامی امور میں بہتری کے لیے سات افسران کے تبادلے اور نئی تعیناتیوں کے احکامات جاری کر دیے ہیں۔ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق کئی اضلاع کے ڈپٹی کمشنروں سمیت اہم انتظامی عہدوں پر تبدیلیاں کی گئی ہیں۔

    تفصیلات کے مطابق عاصم خالد اعوان کو ڈپٹی کمشنر باغ سے تبدیل کر کے ڈپٹی کمشنر مظفرآباد تعینات کیا گیا ہے، جبکہ سید ممتاز حسین کاظمی ڈپٹی کمشنر پونچھ سے ڈپٹی کمشنر باغ مقرر ہوئے ہیں۔ فیصل مغل کو ڈپٹی کمشنر وادی جہلم سے ڈپٹی کمشنر بھمبر تعینات کیا گیا ہے۔

    منیر احمد قریشی کو ڈپٹی کمشنر مظفرآباد کے عہدے سے ہٹا کر ڈپٹی سیکرٹری ہائیر ایجوکیشن تعینات کیا گیا ہے۔ عفت اعظم کو ایڈیشنل ڈپٹی کمشنر کوٹلی سے ڈپٹی کمشنر وادی جہلم مقرر کیا گیا ہے، جبکہ چوہدری محمد طارق ڈپٹی کمشنر بھمبر سے ڈائریکٹر انڈسٹریز اینڈ کامرس تعینات ہوئے ہیں۔

    محمد رضا اللہ خان کو ڈائریکٹر انڈسٹریز اینڈ کامرس کے عہدے سے ہٹا دیا گیا ہے اور انہیں کوئی نئی تعیناتی نہیں دی گئی۔ حکومتی ذرائع کے مطابق یہ تبادلے انتظامی اصلاحات کے تسلسل کا حصہ ہیں۔

    واضح رہے کہ وزیراعظم آزاد کشمیر بیرسٹر افتخار گیلانی کی حکومت نے حال ہی میں اختیاری عہدوں کے خاتمے اور مالیاتی اصلاحات کی جانب بھی اہم اقدامات کیے ہیں۔

    Asim Khalid Awan has been transferred from Deputy Commissioner Bagh and appointed Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad. Syed Mumtaz Hussain Kazmi moves from Deputy Commissioner Poonch to Deputy Commissioner Bagh, while Faisal Mughal has been shifted from Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Valley to Deputy Commissioner Bhimber.

    Munir Ahmed Qureshi has been removed as Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad and appointed Deputy Secretary Higher Education. Iffat Azam has been posted from Additional Deputy Commissioner Kotli to Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Valley, and Chaudhry Muhammad Tariq moves from Deputy Commissioner Bhimber to Director Industries and Commerce.

    Muhammad Razaullah Khan has been removed from the post of Director Industries and Commerce and has not been assigned a new posting. Government sources said the transfers are part of ongoing administrative reforms.

    The reshuffle comes as Prime Minister Barrister Iftikhar Gilani’s government pushes ahead with administrative and financial reforms, including the removal of discretionary appointments.
