    محکمہ سیاحت آزاد کشمیر کی میرپور کے سیاحتی مقامات کی بہتری کی ہدایت

    مظفرآباد: آزاد جموں و کشمیر کے محکمہ سیاحت و آثار قدیمہ نے میرپور کے سیاحتی مقامات پر سہولتوں اور انتظامات کو بہتر بنانے جبکہ ترقی کے لیے ماسٹر پلان تیار کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔

    یہ ہدایات ڈائریکٹر جنرل راجہ شاہد حسین نے ضلع کے دو روزہ دورے کے دوران جاری کیں۔ انہوں نے رام کوٹ قلعہ، منگلا ویو پارک، جیری ڈیم، دھن گلی اور اپر جہلم کینال روڈ اور منگلا اپر ہیڈ کے کئی مقامات کا معائنہ کیا۔

    رام کوٹ قلعہ میں انہوں نے بحالی کے کام، ریزورٹ کی تعمیر، باڑ، رسائی سڑک کی مرمت، لینڈ اسکیپنگ اور سائن بورڈز کا جائزہ لیا۔ لیز معاہدے کے تحت قلعہ کا انتظام چلانے والی نجی کمپنی نے پیش رفت پر بریفنگ دی، جس پر ڈائریکٹر جنرل نے تاخیر کی وضاحت طلب کرتے ہوئے لیز کی شرائط پر عمل کی ہدایت کی۔

    انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ قلعہ خطے کے تاریخی و سیاحتی ورثے کا اہم حصہ ہے اور سیاحوں کے لیے معیاری سہولتیں فراہم کرتے ہوئے اس کی تاریخی حیثیت کو برقرار رکھا جائے۔ انہوں نے ڈڈیال کے قریب منگلا ویو پارک کا بھی معائنہ کیا اور تفریحی سہولتوں و صفائی بہتر بنانے کی ہدایت کی۔

    ڈائریکٹر جنرل نے کمشنر میرپور ڈویژن راجہ طاہر ممتاز سے بھی ملاقات کی، جس میں سیاحت کے فروغ کے لیے مشترکہ حکمت عملی اور مقامی ثقافت و ورثے کو اجاگر کرنے والے میلوں کے انعقاد پر اتفاق کیا گیا۔

    Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Tourism and Archaeology Department has asked its officials and private operators to improve facilities and management at tourist sites in Mirpur and to prepare master plans for developing them.

    The directions were issued by Director General Raja Shahid Hussain during a two-day visit to the district. He inspected Ramkot Fort, Mangla View Park, Jeri Dam, Dhan Galli and several departmental sites along the Upper Jhelum Canal Road and at Mangla Upper Head.

    At Ramkot Fort, he reviewed restoration work, resort construction, fencing, access road repairs, landscaping and signage. The private firm managing the fort under a lease agreement briefed him on progress, and he sought an explanation for delays while directing the firm to meet the lease terms.

    He said the fort was an important part of the region’s historical and tourism heritage, adding that its historical character must be preserved while improving visitor facilities. He also inspected Mangla View Park near Dadyal and instructed its management to upgrade recreational facilities and cleanliness.

    The director general also met Mirpur Divisional Commissioner Raja Tahir Mumtaz to discuss a joint strategy for promoting tourism, including cultural and tourism festivals to showcase local arts and heritage.

    مظفرآباد: آزاد جموں و کشمیر الیکشن کمیشن نے آزاد کشمیر کونسل کے چار بلامقابلہ منتخب ارکان کا باضابطہ نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا ہے۔

    کمیشن کے مطابق یہ ارکان ریٹرننگ افسران سے موصول ہونے والے نتائج کی بنیاد پر منتخب قرار دیے گئے۔ نوٹیفکیشن میں پاکستان مسلم لیگ ن کے مشتاق احمد منہاس، چوہدری محمد سعید اور چوہدری منظور احمد جبکہ پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کے چوہدری لطیف اکبر شامل ہیں۔

    نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق چوہدری لطیف اکبر اور چوہدری منظور احمد مظفرآباد ڈویژن، مشتاق احمد منہاس باغ ڈویژن اور چوہدری محمد سعید میرپور ڈویژن کی نمائندگی کریں گے۔ یہ نام آزاد جموں و کشمیر کونسل الیکشن ایکٹ 1976 کی دفعہ 18 کے تحت شائع کیے گئے۔

    یہ چار نشستیں سابق ارکان کی پانچ سالہ مدت مکمل ہونے پر خالی ہوئی تھیں۔ پولنگ ابتدائی طور پر 12 اکتوبر کو شیڈول تھی، تاہم کاغذات نامزدگی کا عمل مکمل ہونے پر امیدوار بلامقابلہ منتخب قرار پائے۔

    AJK Election Commission notifies four unopposed AJK Council members

    Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has issued the formal notification for four members elected unopposed to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council.

    According to the commission, the members were declared elected on the basis of results received from the returning officers. Those notified are Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed and Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, along with Pakistan Peoples Party leader Chaudhry Latif Akbar.

    The notification says Chaudhry Latif Akbar and Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed represent the Muzaffarabad division, Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas represents the Bagh division, and Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed represents the Mirpur division. The names were published under Section 18 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council (Election) Act, 1976.

    The four seats had fallen vacant after the completion of the previous members’ five-year terms. Although polling had initially been scheduled for October 12, the candidates were declared elected unopposed after the nomination process was completed.
